Hair fall

Hair usually goes through a regular growth cycle. In the anagen phase, the duration of which is three to four years, the hair grows. During the telogen phase, which lasts for about three months, the hair relaxes.

Then the hair falls at the end of the telogen phase and new hair replaces them. Falling 50-60 hairs per day is normal, but hair loss over a long period is a danger bell.

Every time 10% of our hair is in ‘resting phase’ and falls after 2-3 months and new hair replaces them. In some people, hair fall is more common than normal. The reason is weakening of the skull.

High intake of caffeine, junk food and increased stress are the main causes of hair loss. Genetic factors also affect the quality of hair.

Premature white hair

Hair obtains its value and colour from a pigment, named melanin. It is formed by melanocyte cells located in the hair follicle. Research has revealed that melanocyte damage occurs with ageing, affecting the production of melanin.

The new hair that grows due to this melanin build-up has no pigments, which make them appear white. The hair of some people starts turning white at adolescence.

Major causes include stress and nutritional deficiencies. However, genetic factors also play an important role in untimely hair becoming white. Research has revealed that vitamin B12 deficiency is found in people whose hair turns white untimely.

Baldness

Baldness is considered one of the most prominent external causes of youth ends.
Although baldness is a physical condition, it affects people’s lives by becoming a psychological problem.
This affects not only the charm of the person but also his valuable confidence.
Most of the issues of baldness are found more in men than in women.
By the age of 60.

However, due to the unhealthy lifestyle and irregular eating, now the youth are also struggling with such hair difficulties which were earlier seen only at an early age. Untimely white hair, excess hair loss, short hair etc.
These are such problems which are affecting both boys and girls.

Baldness problem is more in men

Baldness is medically called androgenetic alopecia. This problem is more visible in men, as estrogen is not found in the female hormone, which acts as a protective shield against hair loss.

The male hormone testosterone also plays a major role in the disappearance of men’s hair follicles. Modern research has proved that there is a direct relationship between testosterone and baldness. Bald men generally have higher testosterone levels.

Testosterone hormone is also found in women, but its level is low, so they have less problem with baldness. Although the problem of baldness is increasing among women nowadays, the reasons are more external than internal. From pollution to hair, the use of many styles and chemicals also damages the outer layer of hair i.e. the cuticle.

Hair loss is also different in women and men. Hair loss usually begins in men. This is called male pattern baldness. It is controlled by genes and the male hormone testosterone. This pattern is different in women. In the femoral pattern, hair falls from the very top of the scalp and no further hair falls.
